The Mission of the Raleigh-Wake Alumni Chapter is to assist in the growth of Shaw University by helping to recruit desirable students to further their education at Shaw University, and to help provide scholarships and awards for worthy students. We promote close fellowship among all Alumni of Shaw University.
To Members of the Raleigh-Wake Alumni Chapter
It is an honor and privilege to serve as the 2022-2024 President of the Raleigh Wake Chapter (RWAC) of the National Alumni Association of Shaw University. The Raleigh-Wake Chapter is home to over 100 financially active members, who are dedicated to and supportive of the University.
Our mission is to support the University by aiding in the recruitment of desirable students to further their education and assisting in providing scholarships and other resources for worthy students. We, also seek to promote fellowship among alumni of Shaw University.
If you are an alumnus of Shaw University and reside or work in the Raleigh Wake and surrounding area, you are invited to become a member of our local chapter. Come work and fellowship with like-minded others and reignite your dedication to our beloved Alma Mater.
